With due respect and honour I have to state that I am very grateful to Japan Bangladesh Medical Association (JBMA) and Professor Rei Ogawa, Chief, Department of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, Nippon Medical School Hospital for the JBMA Scholarship'2024 in Fellowship programme of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Nippon Medical School Hospital, Tokyo, Japan. I had arrived at Narita Airport on June 3, 2024 at 9am, then by a taxi I reached the NMS International dormitory. The dormitory manager helped me to find my room and introduce d me with the rules of the dormitory. On the next day morning, June 4, 2024 Dr, Shazia, International fellow, NMS, according to the instructions of NMS authority she help ed me to find out the way from my dormitory to Kanamachi Stat ion, then by Tokyo metro train we re ached to the NMSH. Thereafter I reported to Nippon Medical School Hospital authority and Professor Rei Ogawa Sensei. I also meet with Ms Wang Shu at her office in International exchange centre of NMS. Dr. Shazia introduced me with Dr. Saya Odaka, Resident, Plastic Surgery, who arranged everything for my Identity Card to work at NMSH. I must thank to JBMA and NMS as very soon after my arrival in Japan, I got my Scholarship facilities. Dr. Sheikh Aleemuzzaman, Ms Wang Shu and Ms Izumi Iwata cooperates me very much. Thereafter I started to participate in the regular activities of the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. I attend scheduled operations, morning presentations, evening conferences and the valuable lectures of respected teachers regularly. Professor Rei Ogawa Sensei took very important lectures on Burn and Scar Management. I think I have learn many new options for the management of patients with scar and keloid. Dr. Dohi Sensei and Dr. Ono Sensei also took lecturer classes. I also attend the lecture of foreign faculty Professor Akira Yamada, pediatric plastic surgeon of USA, it was a good experience specially on reconstruction of congenital auricular deformity. I must thank to Professor Rai Ogawa sensei and Dr. Akatsuki Kondo sensei for selecting me in the Microsurgery training course of NMS. The Microsurgery training course of NMS is very good for a plastic surgeon. It increase my confidence in microsurgery. I have learn many new techniques in Microsurgery and Super microsurgery at Nippon Medical School Hospital. I have seen many operative procedures at NMSH.

Extra Academic Activities:
Japan is a very beautiful country. I was very much interested about the culture and natural beauty of Japan. I made a plan to visit the beautiful places of Japan in my weekends. I have visited many places in Tokyo, Yokohama, Kobe, Kyoto and Hiroshima. International exchange center of NMS arranged a tour to the Tokyo Disney Sea for the international fellows. I enjoyed the Disney Sea very much. They also arranged a Barbeque party for international fellows that was very nice. I was invited in the dinner parties of NMS and JBMA which was a good experiences about Japanese culture, food and also a goo d time to introduce with respected persons. I visited the Hakone with Dr. Sheikh Aleemuzzaman sir and Dr. Toriqul Islam which was a n ice place. I also visited the Enoshima Island which was a very beautiful place. I visited Kamakura Buddhist temples and Kamakura beach. I observed the wonderful lighting of the fire festival in Tokyo city. I have a good experiences in Japan during journey by Monorail, Shinkansen and JR lines . Tokyo station is a very nice place. I have visited Tokyo Sky tree, Tokyo Tower, Tokyo mertopolitan theatre, Imperial Palace, Shibuya crossing, Nissan crossing, Tokyo University, Tokyo University Hospital, Tokyo University of Science, National museum of nature and science, Ueno park, Ueno zoo, Turkish mosque tokyo, Odaiba marine park, Tokyo academic p ark, Telecom centre tower, The g undam base , Tokyo metropolita n tower, Shinjuku gyoen national garden and Teamlab Borderless Tokyo. At the end of my fellowship training I had a plan to visit Hiroshima. I visited Nijo jo Castle in Kyoto, Kyoto bam boo forest and Kobe sea Beach Bridge. In Hiroshima, I visited the atomic bomb dome, Hiroshima Peace memorial museum, Cenotaph for the atomic bomb victims, Hiroshima national peace memorial hall for the atomic bomb victims and the Miyajima Island. My Kobe, Kyoto and Hiroshima tour will be memorable forever.
Nippon Medical School Hospital, Tokyo, Japan is a very good center for International fellows of Plastic Surgery. The academic activities and hospital management system of NMS is very good. I am grateful to Japan Bangladesh Medical Association (JBMA) and NMS. Japan is a beautiful country. Here peoples are kind and helpful. I love Japan and my memories of Japan will remain forever.
